BKV case: Did the investigators threat Antal Attila too?

The BKV’s case trial continued with the hearing of the former CEO, Antal Attila at the Kecskemét Court. In the beginning of his hearing he admitted that he is guilty in the charge of the controlling the copiers, and then he spoke a lot about his role at the BKV.

After Mesterházy Ernő, Antal Attila said too, that when he had the questioning (when the polices asked him questions in the police station) the investigators threated him: if he is not going to have an incriminatory statement/confession „against Hagyó and the others and against Mesterházy and the others” then he will have a long pre-trial detention and „they will suspect him every week with more and more contracts”. 

According to Antal, under the threat he said things in his investigation statement/confession, with he made his former co-worker’s cause harder, and he wants to apologize for that. He asked the court to take account/take notice of his current/present statement. About his previous questioning/statement he said, that the investigators who questioned him „checked/agreed with the council in every paragraph”, and he wanted to „suit/correspond to the expectations”, so then they will let him go, and he can take care of his family.

Vallomása elején Antal elismerte a fénymásolók ellenőrzésével kapcsolatos vádban való bűnösségét, majd hosszan beszélt a BKV-nál betöltött szerepéről. Mesterházy Ernő után Antal is arról számolt be, hogy kihallgatása során a nyomozók megfenyegették: amennyiben nem tesz terhelő vallomást "Hagyóékra és Mesterházyékra", akkor hosszú előzetes letartóztatásra számíthat, és "hetente fogják újabb szerződésekkel meggyanúsítani".  Antal elmondása szerint a fenyegetés hatására nyomozati vallomásaiban olyan állításokat fogalmazott meg, amelyekkel egykori kollégáinak nehézségeket okozott, ami miatt elnézést kért tőlük. Kérte a bíróságot, hogy mostani vallomását vegyék figyelembe. Korábbi vallomásairól Antal elmondta, hogy azokat a kihallgatást végző nyomozók "bekezdésenként egyeztették az ügyészséggel", ő pedig "meg akart felelni az elvárásoknak", hogy kiengedjék, és gondoskodni tudjon a családjáról.
