The witness who requested his personal information’s closed handling and who was questioned on the hearing was working as the company’s leading consultant. The witness answered the questions about 3 contracts, including the consulting contracts related to Subway line 4, which was also discussed.

The actual signing of the contract happened after the arrangements have been made with the former CEO of the BKV. There was a two week deadline for the first phase, so the fulfillments have been made before the signing of the contract and has been started right after the verbal agreement. 8-10 consultants worked on the assignment in 12-13 hours a day. The witness gave a detailed report about the work they’ve done. It has been revealed from his report that they’ve done a great amount of work in a short time.
He also stated that as a result of their suggestions made in January, the conversion of the Subway line 4 project’s management structure has been already started in March. What the prosecution tried to prove was that the company also worked for the capital or anyone who took part in leading the project. The witness however traversed that they would directly write documents and proposals which have been submitted then by city leaders.
The witness told for a question of the defense that he didn’t meet with Miklós Hagyó, first accused, former deputy lord mayor until May, when the work was done and that he also doesn’t know about that they’ve gotten any assignments from workers at the City Hall. At the same time it is conceivable that they’ve given guidance and information for requests regarding the projects, as well as that they’ve written materials used in the preparations of the decision-making. He also explained in details that BKV couldn’t have done this exploratory, screening work without expertise. The defense answered to a different question that - against the statements contained in the indictment - their work wasn’t unnecessary, but definitely desirable. As he said, the work done required special expertise and he agreed with one of the witnesses from the Tuesday’s hearing in the matter that it wouldn’t have been an exaggeration to use a project management with several hundred people in case of an investment as big as this.
After the hearing of the witness the defense presented those decisions of the City Council which proves that as a result of the company’s work they significantly transformed the project’s management. Miklós Hagyó pinpointed in his remark that according to the capital’s bylaws the professional divisions – in this case the transportation divisions - are responsible for the proposals. He stated that he only knew that much about the BKV’s and the consulting firm’s connections that it exists, he never gave any orders to the firm. He also said that the work done by the firm was really useful. He also supported his opinion with specifics. It was an interesting moment of the hearing when during the questioning of the witness judge Ibolya Hadnagy warned the prosecutor that he should avoid the “what would have happened if” type of questions.

A BKV-per újabb tanúvallomása sem kedvezett ma a vádnak: kiderült, hogy a vád tárgyává tett tanácsadói szerződés alapján egy külsős cég hasznos és fontos munkát végzett a közlekedési vállalatnak a 4-es metró beruházásával kapcsolatban. A tárgyaláson meghallgatott - személyes adatainak zárt kezelését kérő - tanú a cég vezető tanácsadójaként dolgozott. A tanú három szerződéssel kapcsolatban válaszolt a kérdésekre, köztük a 4-es metróval kapcsolatos tanácsadói szerződések is terítékre kerültek.
Mint mondta, a cég már 1996 dolgozott a BKV-nak. A metróval kapcsolatos szerződésről úgy nyilatkozott, hogy a beruházásért felelős személy kereste meg őket, hogy a cég tanulmányt készítsen a projekt helyzetéről. Konkrét szerződéskötés a BKV akkori vezérigazgatójával megtartott egyeztetések után történt. A munka első szakaszára kéthetes határidő volt, ezért a teljesítést már a szerződés megkötését megelőzően, már a szóbeli megállapodást követően megkezdték. A feladaton 8-10 tanácsadó dolgozott 12-13 órás munkaidővel. A tanú részletesen beszámolt az elvégzett munkáról. Beszámolójából kiderült, hogy rövid idő alatt igen nagy munkát végeztek el.
Kijelentette azt is, januárban tett javaslataik hatására márciusban már meg is kezdődött 4-es metró projekt vezetési struktúrájának átalakítása. Az ügyészség azt próbálta bizonyítani, hogy a cég dolgozott a főváros számára is, és bárkinek, aki részt vett projekt irányításában. A tanú azonban cáfolta, hogy közvetlenül ők írtak volna dokumentumokat és előterjesztéseket, amelyeket aztán városvezetők nyújtottak be.
A tanú a védelem kérdésére elmondta, hogy Hagyó Miklós elsőrendű vádlottal, volt főpolgármester-helyettessel a munka befejezéséig, márciusig nem is találkozott, és arról sem tud, hogy bármilyen feladatot kaptak volna a Városháza dolgozóitól. Ugyanakkor elképzelhető, hogy kérésre adtak tájékoztatást és információkat projektekkel kapcsolatban, illetve írtak döntés-előkészítésben használható anyagokat. Kifejtette azt is, hogy BKV nem tudta volna elvégezni ezt feltáró, átvilágító munkát szakértelem híján. A védelem egy másik kérdésére úgy felelt, hogy munkájuk a vádiratban foglaltakkal szemben nemhogy szükségtelen lett volna, de határozottan kívánatos volt. Mint mondta, az elvégzett munka speciális szaktudást igényelt és egyetértett abban a keddi tárgyalási nap egyik tanújával, hogy egyáltalán nem lett volna túlzó egy ekkora beruházás esetében akár több száz fős projektmenedzsment sem.
A tanú meghallgatása után a védelem bemutatta a fővárosi közgyűlés azon határozatait, amelyek bizonyítják, hogy a cég munkája nyomán jelentősen átalakították a projekt irányítását. Hagyó Miklós pedig észrevételében leszögezte, hogy a főváros szabályzata szerint az előterjesztések szakmai ügyosztályokra tartoznak, jelen esetben a közlekedésire. Kijelentette, hogy a BKV és a tanácsadó cég kapcsolatáról csak annyit tudott, hogy létezik, a cég részére utasítást soha nem adott. Elmondta azt is, hogy a cég munkája igen hasznos volt. Véleményét konkrétumokkal is alátámasztotta. A tárgyalás érdekes pillanata volt, mikor a tanú meghallgatása alatt Hadnagy Ibolya bírónő figyelmeztette az ügyészt, hogy a tárgyalás során kerülje a "mi lett volna, ha" típusú kérdéseket.
